Mikolaj is a real multi-talent in bass as well as guitar as well as vocals and "Darkside" Maciej's drumming is a well-calibrated 100th-of-seconds-clockwork. Not for nothing is Mgla considered as a standard for a lot of other blacker-than-black metal bands. I hope to see this band live once.....

I do not regret many things about my past, but I have made a few professional and personal missteps of varying severity over the years, including overlooking this band for too long. Stellar was the post-black metal kick in the face that I have been looking for and needing, and though Finisterre is superior, this album is so intense, polished, progressive, adventurous, and, of course, powerful that you cannot give this music your finger without it then taking your entire arm. Embrace this!
